Straightline Consulting in Milan is seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of hyperscale data centre projects. You will own the process from planning to client handover and coordinate across electrical and mechanical teams.

The role requires proven data centre commissioning experience, strong leadership, and excellent client-facing communication to drive quality, safety, and schedule adherence on large-scale programs.

• Proven Data Centre commissioning experience is essential.
• Strong Electrical or Mechanical engineering background required.
• Experience leading commissioning teams on large-scale projects.
• MEP project management experience and client liaison skills.

Ready to lead the commissioning of some of Europe's most advanced hyper-scale data centre projects?

Straightline Consulting is growing, and we're looking for experienced Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning Project Leads to join our team in Milan.

This isn't just another Senior Commissioning Manager role.

You'll take ownership of major mission-critical projects, leading teams through every stage of the commissioning process while working alongside some of the industry's biggest clients.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading commissioning activities from planning through to client handover
• Managing multidisciplinary commissioning teams across complex MEP systems
• Driving quality, safety and programme delivery on hyperscale data centre projects
• Developing commissioning plans, method statements and test scripts
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Mentoring and developing Commissioning Engineers and future leaders

What we're looking for:

• Proven Data Centre Commissioning experience (essential)
• Strong Electrical or Mechanical background
• Experience leading commissioning teams on large-scale projects
• MEP project management experience
• Confident client-facing communicator
• Relevant engineering qualifications and site certifications (CSCS, ECS, Safe Pass or SMSTS)
