KPIT in Torino, Italy, seeks a Lead Brain Platform System Debug & War Room Engineer to investigate software issues in Brain Core ECUs, HPC, and Cabin ZCU platforms, performing system-level debugging and root-cause analysis within a Brain War Room environment.

You will reproduce failures across bench, HIL/VHIL, and vehicle testing, coordinate with software, testing and integration teams, and support corrective actions, FOTA investigations, and release of fixes, using UDS, DoIP, CAN, and Ethernet

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
5+ years of embedded software debugging and system validation experience.
Strong understanding of automotive E&E architecture and embedded software systems.

Mansioni

Investigate software and system issues identified during validation activities.
Reproduce failures in bench, HIL/VHIL, vehicle, and validation environments.
Perform system-level debugging, technical triage, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with software, BSW, testing, quality, integration, and program teams.
Debug software on Qualcomm-based HPC and Cabin ZCU platforms.
Analyze issues across QNX, Android, and hypervisor-based environments.
Support software flashing, updates, and FOTA investigations.
Verify fixes and confirm issue resolution.
