emagine in Turin is seeking a Lead HPC Platform System Debug Engineer to troubleshoot and validate automotive software across HPC and Cabin ZCU platforms. You will join a cross-functional team focused on vehicle software validation and quality assurance.

The role requires deep hands-on experience in embedded software debugging, system integration, and FOTA/diagnostics, with on-site work in Turin and occasional travel (10-20%).

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in embedded software debugging, platform integration, validation, or root-cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of automotive E&E architecture and HPC software architectures.
• Hands-on system-level debugging, issue reproduction, and technical triage.
• Experience with hypervisor-based platforms; proficiency in QNX and Linux/Android; familiarity with bootloaders and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of software flashing, updates, FOTA, and diagnostics (UDS/DoIP/CAN).
• Strong communication skills for technical reporting.
• Experience with benches, HIL/VHIL, and vehicle testing.
• Willingness to on-site in Turin and travel 10-20%.

Mansioni

• Reproduce and debug software issues across bench, HIL/ViL, vehicle and program-validation activities; perform root cause analysis.
• Integrate software components; conduct sanity and smoke tests to ensure build stability.
• Reflash builds, execute updates, and assist FOTA investigations; apply small configuration changes to verify fixes.
• Identify issue ownership with specialists; coordinate corrective actions and release strategies.
• Document root causes, workarounds, and next steps; communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain and adapt validation setups, including minor bench wiring or hardware modifications.
