Oversonic Robotics is seeking a Mid/Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our cognitive platform team. You will design, build, and scale the core backend systems powering the robot's brain, tackling distributed, real-time, high-performance computing challenges.

You will work with Python, asyncio, Docker, and Kubernetes, collaborating with robotics engineers and frontend developers to deliver reliable, scalable software that advances human-robot interaction. Smart working options are available.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on async programming (asyncio, threading, multiprocessing).

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Python.
• Implement and optimize concurrent systems with asyncio, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
• Architect and build distributed backend components and real-time channels via WebSockets.
• Collaborate with frontend, robotics, and infrastructure teams; ensure reliability and performance.
• Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes/Helm.
• Contribute to database design (NoSQL and SQL) and CI/CD automation.
