Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django) to join a fully remote international team based in Italy. You will build scalable APIs and microservices, focusing on operations, automation, and performance in a high-load environment.

Responsibilities include testing, code reviews, and collaboration with Product and QA to deliver resilient solutions while tackling technical debt and optimization challenges.

Competenze

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong Django REST Framework experience and API design skills.
• Proficient in unit testing with Pytest and quality-focused practices.
• Experience with microservices, asynchronous programming, and high-load systems.
• Excellent English communication in an international team; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices for a global platform.
• Contribute to software architecture with focus on operations, automation and scalability.
• Improve quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, N+1 problems, and async issues.
• Collaborate with Product and QA across international teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
