Job summary

Cardo AI in Lombardia is hiring a Structured Finance Specialist to execute complex credit transactions across asset classes, reporting to the Head of Client Integration. You will collaborate with banks, trustees, and investors to deliver data-driven solutions that drive efficiency.

This role offers autonomy, exposure to global stakeholders, and opportunities to own projects in the alternative investment space within a fast-growing fintech.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in structured finance, securitizations, leveraged finance, or asset-based lending.
• Strong analytical skills with large data sets; SQL familiarity is preferred.
• Autonomous, proactive problem solver with client-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication abilities in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Structured Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in executing structured credit transactions across various asset classes. Reporting to the Head of Client Integration, you will collaborate with financial institutions, alternative investors, and internal teams to deliver data-driven solutions that drive industry transformation. This role offers autonomy and exposure to global stakeholders, providing an opportunity to take ownership and make a significant impact in the alternative investment space.

What You Will Do

• Analyze securitization and asset-based lending structures, extracting key insights from reports, legal documentation, and transaction mechanics to optimize investment strategies.
• Work with large datasets, mapping data sources to Cardo AI's proprietary financial models (SQL, Python, R, or similar tools are a plus — training provided).
• Act as a trusted advisor to financial institutions, delivering tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and returns.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless process implementation.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in structured finance, securitizations, leveraged finance, or asset-based lending.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets; familiarity with SQL and other tools is preferred.
• A problem-solving mindset and ability to drive projects forward autonomously.
• Exceptional communication skills and a passion for client interaction in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
