Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) seeks a Senior ART & Parametrics Underwriter to lead analysis, validation, and structuring of ART & Parametrics solutions worldwide. You will translate climate and hazard data into robust parametric structures, ensuring pricing adequacy and portfolio growth.
Based in Milano with smart working options, you will interact with clients and cross-functional teams to shape innovative risk transfer solutions and contribute to Generali's ART & Parametrics
Competenze
- 7–10 years of experience in catastrophe modelling and nat cat risk analytics.
- Ability to translate technical outputs into commercial solutions.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
Mansioni
- Lead advanced catastrophe modelling analysis (earthquake, windstorm, flood, wildfire) for parametric underwriting decisions.
- Validate hazard data, event sets, and pricing models for robustness and consistency.
- Translate model outputs into parametric triggers (index selection, thresholds, payout curves).
- Assess basis risk, exposure aggregation, and model limitations for sound underwriting.
- Drive continuous improvement in modelling approaches and data sources.
