Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Area Credit Manager in Italy to act as the local face for the Credit and Collections organization. You will manage relationships with complex accounts, approve credit actions within delegated authority, and support sales by safeguarding assets and cash flow.

The role requires 10+ years in credit/collections, fluency in Italian and good English, and strong analytical and negotiation skills. Travel is around 50% with a focus on strategic, high-value customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in collections and credit management within Medtech industry.
• Fluent Italian; advanced English.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Credit and Collections.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior local point of contact for Sales and country leadership on credit matters.
• Independently approve/decline order release/hold decisions within delegated limits.
• Review, recommend and approve credit limits for high-risk customers.
• Structure, negotiate, and approve payment plans and settlements beyond analyst authority.
• Lead and finalize negotiations with senior customer stakeholders.
• Identify emerging risks and drive corrective action before escalation.
• Support portfolio strategy and resource allocation decisions.
