Job summary

Huawei Milan Research Center is seeking an Analog RFIC Design Engineer to support the study, design, and development of integrated circuits. You will join a fast-paced international team working on state-of-the-art technologies in microwave and millimeter-wave communications.

The role focuses on designing high-performance Analog ICs for optical transceiver modules, driving layout activities, and analyzing requirements with system engineers. Based in Vimodrone/Milan area with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering; PhD encouraged.
• 5+ years in analog/RFIC design with hands-on experience on complex IC.
• Experience with Cadence and analog/RF design practices, from layout to testing.
• Creative problem solver with ability to meet high performance requirements.
• Proficient with SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS technologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team; English fluency; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance Analog ICs for integrated optical transceiver modules (simulation, design, verification, optimization).
• Analyze requirements and define target performance with system engineers.
• Drive and support layout activity for physical design of building blocks and top levels.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and share knowledge and best practices within the team.
