Job summary

Accenture PLC seeks a Principal AI Infrastructure Architect to lead compute infrastructure for large-scale AI/ML deployments in a global enterprise. You will drive architectural decisions, deliver reference architectures, and mentor a team of senior architects, focusing on scalable, cost-efficient, and secure AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in coding, building, monitoring, troubleshooting applications of AI/ML models; selecting, designing and infrastructure for deploying and running them on premise or on public cloud.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning as a subject.
• Strong understanding of computing infrastructure; experience with AI infrastructure preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Set the overarching technical vision and strategy for compute infrastructure supporting large-scale AI/ML systems.
• Own the most complex architecture decisions across compute, networking, storage, orchestration, and model serving.
• Architect and prototype large-scale, cost-optimized compute and distributed training systems; build reference implementations and benchmarks.
• Define reference architectures, standards, and patterns; implement foundational tooling and automation.
• Lead enterprise-scale architecture assessments and design reviews in production environments.
• Shape and steward the AI infrastructure roadmap and technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Pilot emerging technologies; test in real conditions to judge applicability.
• Drive performance and cost optimization of the computational stack; tune workloads for SLAs and cost.
• Serve as principal authority across hyperscaler cloud platforms with hands-on AI/ML expertise.
• Lead root-cause analysis of complex issues across stack; codify fixes.
