JUWI Group, a leader in renewable energy, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Milan or Verona, Italy. You will oversee the full accounting cycle, ensure statutory reporting under Italian GAAP and IFRS, and drive accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closes with strong controls.

In this role you’ll prepare IFRS adjustments, manage intercompany reconciliations, VAT/Intrastat filings and collaborate with HR, Procurement and Operations to improve processes while maintaining

Competenze

• Oversee full accounting cycle: AP/AR, journals, GL.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual close with accuracy.
• Strong understanding of Italian GAAP and IFRS.
• Intercompany reconciliations and financial reporting.
• VAT/Intrastat compliance.

Mansioni

• Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable.
• Review and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Manage analytical accounting with increased ownership and oversight.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of Financial Statements according to Italian GAAP.
• Ensure correctness and compliance of pay slips accounting.
• Review and validate purchase orders and related administrative documentation.
• Prepare and review IFRS adjustments, reclassifications and reporting entries required for Group consolidation purpose.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information reported to HQ and Group requirements.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports with a high level of accuracy and reliability.
• Manage intercompany reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Group entities.
• Oversee preparation and submission of fiscal requirements (e.g., VAT, Intrastat).
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal accounting policies.

Your contribution to the energy transition

As our Senior Accountant you are responsible for overseeing and executing complex accounting, statutory reporting and financial reporting activities within the Company. Reporting to the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Team Leader, you’ll ensure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of all bookkeeping and reporting processes in accordance with internal standards, Italian GAAP, IFRS and Group requirements.

The role contributes to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring alignment between local statutory requirements and Group reporting standards, and acts as a key point of reference for stakeholders.

Core Accounting & Bookkeeping

Process Improvements & Team Support

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (HR, Procurement, Operations).
• Perform complex ad-­hoc analyses and tasks as required by the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Team Leader.
