viridiusLAB AG in Pisa, Italy, seeks a permanent, full-time Accounting professional to manage day-to-day Italy operations and coordinate closely with the Group Finance team in Vienna.

The role requires an accounting degree and several years of experience in an international setting, with strong Italian accounting knowledge and English fluency.

Mansioni

• Support the Team Lead Accounting Italy in day-to-day accounting operations and ensure smooth financial processes.
• Manage the full accounting cycle: AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and payments.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly and annual closings per Italian standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to its optimization.
• Transform processes into structured, scalable workflows.

Tasks

• Support the Team Lead Accounting Italy in the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure smooth, reliable financial processes.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with Italian accounting standards.
• Drive the continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Work confidently with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to its ongoing optimization.
• Transform accounting processes from reactive, ad hoc solutions into structured, scalable, and repeatable workflows.
• Collaborate closely with the Group Finance team at our headquarters in Vienna as well as colleagues across our international subsidiaries.
• Support tax audits and work closely with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Participate in group-wide finance projects and accounting process harmonization initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or commercial qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field (e.g. Laurea in Economia, Ragioneria e Amministrazione).
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international company or group structure.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles and relevant tax regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a confident command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent English is essential for daily communication with our headquarters in Vienna.
• A structured, process-oriented, and hands-on approach to work.
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and the confidence to improve existing processes.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
