viridiusLAB AG in Pisa is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the Italian team. You will support daily accounting operations, manage end-to-end cycles, and prepare closings according to Italian standards.

You will help drive process improvements, work with Dynamics 365, and coordinate with the Vienna HQ and international subsidiaries. Fluency in English is essential for communication with the headquarters.

Competenze

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent (e.g. Laurea in Economia).
• Several years of accounting experience, ideally in an international company or group.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Fluent English for daily communication with HQ in Vienna.

• Support the Team Lead Accounting Italy in day-to-day accounting operations and ensure smooth, reliable financial processes.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and payments.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings under Italian standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to its optimization.
• Transform processes into structured, scalable, repeatable workflows.
• Collaborate with Group Finance HQ in Vienna and other subsidiaries.
• Support tax audits and work with external advisors and auditors.
• Participate in group-wide finance projects and harmonization initiatives.

Tasks

• Support the Team Lead Accounting Italy in the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure smooth, reliable financial processes.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with Italian accounting standards.
• Drive the continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Work confidently with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to its ongoing optimization.
• Transform accounting processes from reactive, ad hoc solutions into structured, scalable, and repeatable workflows.
• Collaborate closely with the Group Finance team at our headquarters in Vienna as well as colleagues across our international subsidiaries.
• Support tax audits and work closely with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Participate in group-wide finance projects and accounting process harmonization initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or commercial qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field (e.g. Laurea in Economia, Ragioneria e Amministrazione).
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international company or group structure.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles and relevant tax regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a confident command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent English is essential for daily communication with our headquarters in Vienna.
