This Opportunity in Rome, Italy is seeking a Security Manager on a temporary basis to cover parental leave. You will ensure the required security level across in-country operations in Italy, Spain and Portugal, coordinating physical and information security governance with corporate functions.

As an individual contributor, you will lead security incidents investigations, support audits, and ensure compliance with local laws including NIS2 and GDPR, while aligning with global security standards.

Competenze

• Education: BSc or MSc in a related field.
• Experience in a Telco, SW or Service company as Security Manager or similar role.
• Leadership experience and integrity.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, risk management, audit, security domains, business continuity and privacy.
• Knowledge of local laws including NIS2 and GDPR.

About this opportunity

This is a temporary position to cover parental leave.

We are now hiring a Security Manager to support our operations in Italy, Spain, and Portugal. In this role, you will ensure that the company’s desired security level is achieved across in-country operations, while contributing your expertise to team-wide objectives in cooperation with corporate functions. This role has a broad country security scope covering physical security, information security governance, incident and crisis management, audit support, and local regulatory compliance.

This is an individual contributor position.

What you will do

• Manage the local companies’ security needs in line with global, local and customer requirements and processes, and ensure that local Security implementations comply.
• Coordinate security governance activities
• Lead Crisis Management establishment and execution
• Manage security incidents in partnership with other units as needed, perform security incidents investigations
• Support external, internal and customer audits
• Ensure physical security is up to required level and assessed risks

The skills you will bring

• Education: BSc, MSc with focus in a related field
• A background in a Telco, SW or Service company as Security Manager or other similar position is an asset as well as some military or law enforcement experience
• Leadership experience and undisputed integrity
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, Risk Management, Audit & Assessment, Information-, Personnel- and Physical security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management, Privacy, basics in security investigations
• Local Laws & Regulations knowledge, including NIS2 and GDPR

Other professional & technical proficiencies

• Experience in security management in a large, preferably multinational organization
• Competence in security incident handling including investigation and follow up
