Belmond’s Hotel Caruso on the Amalfi Coast seeks a motivated Property Security Manager to lead safety, security, and risk management for guests, staff, and assets. You will report to the Cluster Safety and Security Manager and collaborate to uphold luxury standards.

The role includes CCTV, access control, emergency planning, incident response, staff training, and compliance with safety regulations in a high-end setting. Permanent contract with world-class benefits.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily physical security operations and ensure guest, staff and asset safety
• Monitor CCTV, access control, and flow management; supervise maintenance of security systems
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and incident investigations in collaboration with local services
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire prevention and local regulatory requirements

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Security Manager to support the management and implementation of safety, security, and risk management activities within our property. Reporting to the Cluster Safety and Security Manager, the ideal candidate will collaborate in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and company assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and luxury standards of the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations & Physical Security
• Monitor and manage all aspects of physical security, including closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, access control, and flow management
• Perform regular inspections of risk management systems (e.g., fire and evacuation equipment) and supervise corrective actions when necessary
• Support the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of security and fire safety systems
• Emergency Response & Incident Management
• Actively participate in emergency planning, related drills, and property preparedness programs
• Coordinate the initial phases of incident investigations, collaborating with local emergency services and preparing the required documentation
• Manage critical situations with promptness and efficiency, maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach
• Compliance & Safety Standards
• Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, fire prevention, and local regulatory requirements
• Support various departments in implementing security protocols and promoting a culture of prevention and resilience
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to support hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP/Hygiene)
• Event Safety & VIP Guests
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments for VIP visits, special events, and large functions
• Implement dedicated protective measures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Training & Communication
• Support the delivery of security training sessions targeted at both security and non-security personnel, promoting awareness and company compliance
• Support Human Resources (HR) in pre-employment screening activities, including reference and background checks where required

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Certification in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
• Experience: At least 2-4 years of progressive experience in similar security roles, preferably within luxury hospitality, corporate, or high-end retail sectors
• Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of physical security principles, security technologies (CCTV, access control), and risk management methodologies. Knowledge of applicable safety regulations
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
• Languages: Excellent command of the local language and English (written and spoken)
