Job summary

Belmond Splendido in Portofino is seeking a Chef de Rang for Villa Beatrice for the 2027 season. You will deliver refined service in a luxury environment, ensuring flawless guest experiences and seamless dining moments in the Portofino hills.

Accommodation in staff housing is provided, with meals and a clear path for ongoing collaboration beyond the season. Contract runs March–October 2027 with potential continuity across Belmond properties.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and emotional intelligence are essential.
• Collaborative mindset with flexibility and teamwork.
• Fluent in English and Italian; guest-centric service mindset.
• Experience in luxury service is preferred; HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil operations of Food & Beverage on Villa Beatrice following policies and standards.
• Monitor guest experience from arrival through service to ensure excellence.
• Anticipate guests' needs and maintain flawless service quality.
• Establish relationships with guests and handle requests kindly.
• Coordinate and supervise Commis de Rang; support economic targets.
