EFSA, tramite Randstad Italia, cerca un/una Assistente di Data Management e Analysis per lavorare nell’IDATA Unit. Competenze in Python, SQL e gestione dati richieste; sede Parma con possibilità di estensione. Orario 2 giorni in ufficio settimanali e lavoro da remoto entro 2 ore da Parma.

Contratto iniziale di 3 mesi con possibilità di proroga fino a 24 mesi; livello di inglese C1 richiesto; esperienza in pipeline di dati e redazione di documenti tecnici è preferenziale.

Competenze

• Livello di inglese C1.
• Laurea in Data Science/CS/IT/Bioinformatics o campi affini.
• Almeno 1 anno di esperienza in raccolta, gestione e analisi di dati, inclusa pipeline di processamento.
• Conoscenze avanzate di Python.
• Conoscenza di Git.
• Esperienza con XML/JSON.
• Conoscenza di SQL e database relazionali.
• Esperienza nella redazione di documenti scientifici/tecnici.
• Competenze comportamentali: attenzione al dettaglio, lavoro di squadra, problem solving.

Mansioni

• Supportare l’analisi e la valutazione di dati scientifici nell’IDATA Unit.
• Supportare extraction, analisi e presentazione di dati scientifici.
• Creare e mantenere database.
• Integrare dati da fonti multiple.
• Sviluppare e ottimizzare pipeline per validazione, trasformazione e migrazione dati.
• Presentare risultati a stakeholder tecnici e non tecnici tramite report, dashboard, presentazioni.

We are looking for a Scientific Data Management and Analysis Assistant to work in theIDATA Unit.

Responsabilità

The candidate will be working within the IDATA Unit providing support on the analysisand assessment of scientific data relevant to processes in EFSA. In particular, thecandidate will support the:

• Extraction, analysis and presentation of scientific data;
• Creation and maintenance of databases;
• Integration of data from multiple sources
• Development and optimization of pipelines to automate data validation,
• transformation and migration;
• Presentation of findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughreports and dashboards, oral presentations, or written communications.

Functie-eisen

Essential requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English (C1 level);
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology,Bioinformatics or related fields;
• At least 1 year of proven experience in evidence and data collection,management and analysis, including developing and maintaining data processingpipelines;
• Advanced Python programming skills;
• Basic knowledge of version control systems, e.g. Git;
• Experience with structured / machine-readable data exchange formats such asXML or JSON;
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
• Experience in writing scientific and/or technical documents;
• Behavioural competencies: attention to details, work with others, focus on
• stakeholder needs, analysis and problem solving, work with ambiguity.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience with chemical or biological databases, software, tools and data formats (e.g. IUCLID, OECD Harmonised Templates);
• Experience using Databricks for data processing, transformation and analytics in a cloud-based data engineering environment;
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies (e.g. Power BI) and Azure Cloud services;

Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expectedduration of assignment: 24 months.

Salary: approx. € 2326,00 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.

Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.
