Cooper Consumer Health Italy is seeking a Vigilance & Safety Officer to manage safety reports from trials and markets, ensure data quality, and support standard operating procedures. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline and fluent English, with pharmacovigilance knowledge considered a plus.

You will work with cross-functional teams, aim to meet vigilance KPIs, and engage in literature screening and vigilance documentation as part of a collaborative safety function.

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required, other languages are a plus.
• Knowledge or experience in Pharmacovigilance is welcomed.
• Experience with pharmacovigilance databases is welcomed.
• Able to work in a team and solve problems.

Mansioni

• Process safety reports (ICSRs) from trials or markets, ensure data accuracy, and trigger follow-ups.
• Perform ICSR reconciliations with stakeholders.
• Assist in writing or reviewing PMS system SOPs.

We are looking for motivated candidates for the Vigilance & Safety Officer position, ready to step up, take on challenges with determination, and make a real impact.

Key activities

• Process Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) of the Company coming from clinical trials or from the markets via affiliates or distributors (Medical Devices, In Vitro Diagnostic Devices, Food Supplements, Cosmetics, General sales). Checking data for consistency and accuracy triggering follow-up requests to local teams if needed. Ensure recording data in the Global Safety Database (triage/acceptance, Data Entry, Quality Check, Submission)
• Performing ICSR reconciliations with relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting in writing or reviewing Standard Operating Procedures of the PMS System, where appropriate.
• Ensuring Vigilance compliance KPIs are met.
• Supporting in screening of scientific literature when needed and appropriate.
• Supporting the Vigilance and Safety team in general activities and/or drafting vigilance documents.
• Interacting with concerned internal departments, affiliates, and providers.
• Join cross functional teams where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific Disciplines (Pharmacy, CTF, or similar)
• Knowledge and/or experience in Pharmacovigilance requirements/obligations are welcomed
• Previous knowledge of Pharmacovigilance databases is welcomed.
• Fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required and knowledge of another foreign language is appreciated.
• Able to work in team and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office Tools.

What we offer

• Working hours: Full-time (38,5 hours per week), Monday to Friday (shorter hours on Friday)
• Smart working: 10 days per month
