• Support procurement, inspection, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Rotating Equipment Engineer – EPC Oil & Gas Project (WHP Scope) Milan European nationals only (Visa purposes)

An opportunity is available for an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support a major offshore oil & gas development project, with a focus on Wellhead Platform (WHP) scope.

This role suits candidates with a strong EPC background.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, turbines, and associated packages
• Support design, specification, and vendor evaluation activities
• Review and approve vendor documentation, datasheets, and drawings
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation)
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and design reviews
• Support procurement, inspection, testing, and commissioning phases
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Significant experience in oil & gas EPC projects, specifically with WHP / offshore platform scope
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, operation, and maintenance
• Experience working with major EPC contractors or operators
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, etc.)
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural project environments
