Job summary

La SIA, a division of Mare Group, is seeking a Structural Engineer for Rome. You will independently develop structural designs, perform seismic assessments, and oversee the drafting of drawings, reports, and bills of quantities.

The role involves site inspections and guiding the structural team on complex projects. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in structural modelling, knowledge of Sismicad/Prosap, and experience with AutoCAD, Midas, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with structural specialization.
• At least 5 years of experience in structural modelling and design.
• Knowledge of finite element software Sismicad and Prosap.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Midas and Revit BIM.
• Registration with the professional order (Ordine).

Responsibilities

• Independent development of structural design and calculations.
• Perform seismic vulnerability assessments and retrofitting.
• Analyze existing buildings and prepare final drawings and reports.
• Draft static verifications and bills of quantities with cost estimates.
• Conduct structural surveys and site inspections.
• Lead the structural design team on complex projects.
