OneSeven srl is seeking an experienced ARM / Yocto Embedded Linux & Security Engineer to support an aerospace project in Rome. The role focuses on developing, customizing, securing, and validating embedded Linux platforms on ARM-based systems, with emphasis on Yocto, secure boot, and DO-178C compliance.

The candidate will work on near real-time software, CANBus/CANopen/ARINC 429 protocols, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience with ARM-based microprocessor systems.
• Proven experience building Yocto-based Linux distributions.
• Experience with embedded security features (MAC, TPM) and secure boot.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, build, customize, and maintain embedded Linux operating systems using the Yocto Project on ARM-based platforms.
• Configure and customize Yocto components, including meta-layers and BitBake configurations.
• Integrate U-Boot and secure boot mechanisms in embedded environments.
• Implement embedded security features such as MAC and TPM.
• Support near real-time embedded software development and CANBus/CANopen/ARINC 429 protocols.
• Contribute to verification/validation for safety-critical systems and DO-178C compliance.
