EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Plant Automation Engineer to join the manufacturing plant, supporting the management, optimization, and development of automated systems. You will analyze performance, troubleshoot robots, and drive continuous improvement across production lines.

You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, suppliers, and tech teams to implement innovative automation solutions, monitor KPI dashboards, and document procedures for equipment users.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronics, Computer/Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in industrial automation and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, robots, and machine vision systems.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and equipment performance monitoring systems.
• Excel proficiency and MS Office know-how.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Hands-on experience with ABB, Fanuc, or Yaskawa robots is a plus.

• Analyze performance of automated equipment to identify anomalies and improvement opportunities.
• Support troubleshooting and debugging on robotic systems and automation software.
• Monitor machine KPIs and performance using dashboards and data analysis.
• Assist in industrialization of new products on automated lines and robotic cells.
• Collaborate on software modifications, process optimizations, and new automation solutions.
• Support technical and economic assessment of automation investments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and training materials for equipment users.
