BionIT Labs in Italy seeks a Robotics Business Developer to convert cutting-edge bionic hand technology into commercial partnerships, PoCs, and long-term sales across the global robotics ecosystem.

You will bridge technical requirements with commercial growth, engaging with CTOs and engineering teams, and travel internationally to drive go-to-market initiatives with strong ownership and strategic vision.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Robotics Business Developer to transform our cutting-edge technology into commercial partnerships, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and long-term sales of our robotic hands and end-effector solutions. This is an entrepreneurial role at the intersection of business development, technology, and product strategy. You will bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial growth in the global robotics ecosystem (Humanoid, Service, and Industrial Robotics).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pipeline & Growth: Identify, map, and approach potential international customers, system integrators, and strategic partners.
• Technical BD: Engage with CTOs, founders, and engineering teams to identify high-value use cases for BionIT's robotic hand technology.
• PoC Management: Define, structure, and convert Proof of Concept projects into long-term commercial and supply agreements.
• Market Voice: Gather market feedback to shape our product roadmap and represent BionIT Labs at global robotics events.
• We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial drive with enough technical knowledge to communicate credibly with robotics engineers and technical decision-makers. You should be comfortable moving from a commercial discussion with a CEO or Business Development Director to a technical conversation with a CTO or Robotics Engineer.

YOUR PERFORMANCE WILL BE MEASURED PRIMARILY THROUGH

• Qualified robotics opportunities generated.
• Number and quality of customer meetings with relevant decision-makers.
• Proofs of Concept launched.
• Conversion rate from POC to commercial agreement.
• Robotics customers acquired.
• Revenue generated from robotic hands and related solutions.
• Size and quality of the strategic customer pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

• 3–5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, mechatronics or related deep-tech industries within one of these roles: Product specialist, product manager, Sales and Marketing, Business Development.
• Proven track record in B2B customer acquisition and international deal closing.
• Solid technical understanding of robotics, mechatronics, or electromechanical systems.
• Fluency in Englishand willingness to travel internationally.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of results.

NICE TO HAVE

• Background in Engineering (Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electronics).
• Experience with robotic manipulators, grippers, or humanoid robotics.
• Existing network within the robotics ecosystem and experience in startup/scale-up environments.

SALARY RANGE: 40-60K€ (including basic, variable and other benefits).
