Systematica in Milan is seeking a Road Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to design of urban and interurban road projects, from concept to detailed design stages, collaborating with planners and engineers.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of road design experience, strong CAD skills, and BIM proficiency (InfraWorks, Revit, Navisworks). Italian and English fluency is required.

Competenze

• University Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in Road Design projects.
• Strong knowledge of road design principles and standards (Italian and international).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D / Civil Desing for road geometry and modeling.
• Ability to prepare and review technical drawings and documentation.
• Teamwork and communication in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Italian and English spoken and written.
• BIM for Infrastructure (InfraWorks, Revit, Navisworks) experience.

Systematica, is looking for a Road Design Engineer to join our team in Milan.

As part of our expanding team, you will work on national and international projects, contributing to the design of efficient and sustainable road networks.

We’re looking for someone motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a multidisciplinary environment alongside urban planners, engineers, and mobility experts.

Main Duties

• Contribute to the design and development of urban and interurban road projects, from concept to detailed design stages.
• Support the integration of road design within multidisciplinary projects involving transport planning, urban design, and infrastructure engineering.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, geometric layouts, and cross sections using design software.
• Coordinate with other engineers, planners, and architects to ensure design consistency and quality.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing clear technical input and design updates.
• Assist in preparing project reports, design documentation, and tender materials.

Job position education

University Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent.
