Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Nursing Assistant (PRN) to support the nursing team in patient care activities. The role includes assisting with personal needs, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and transport to tests under nurse direction.

The position requires a high school diploma, enrollment in a nursing program, completion of clinical competencies, and BLS certification. This is an hourly, PRN position within a hospital setting dedicated to patient safety.

• Currently enrolled in a nursing program and maintain education requirements.

May serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse.

Additional Job Description

• Education: High school graduate. Complete Clinical Competencies required for assigned area before working off orientation.
• Experience: Currently enrolled in a nursing program and maintaining education requirements of Nursing Program.
• Licenses/Certificates: BLS required.
