Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 6 years progressive experience with 1 year in management, and current BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
• 6+ years progressive work experience and 1 year management experience.
• State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate patient care through admissions, transfers, and discharges with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising clinical staff for adequate coverage.
• Monitor clinical practices for compliance with policies and guidelines; participate in quality improvement.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff, management, patients, and families for clear communication.
• Oversee availability and use of medical supplies and equipment within the unit.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities for reporting and audits.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing managers and medical directors on policy development and implementation.
