Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process at our facility. You will lead assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care in line with established standards.

Qualifications

• South Carolina or Compact State RN License.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Directs and leads other team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with privacy and professional behavior.
• Participate in a professional practice model, governance, and ongoing development for clinical excellence.
• Coordinate care delivery using care management principles to improve patient outcomes.
