Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Milan, Italy, seeks an experienced NPI engineer to join the New Product Introduction team. You will integrate and validate RF, digital, and networking subsystems for 4G/5G and future 6G devices, applying programming, measurement, and data-analysis skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux environments and Python for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with RF/microwave systems and wireless tech.
• Experience integrating complex electronic systems with RF/digital/embedded.
• Familiarity with LTE, 5G NR, Open RAN.
• Experience with RF test instrumentation.
• Understanding RF measurements and calibration.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, validate, and troubleshoot Radio Units, UE emulators, and wireless test systems.
• Perform system-level bring-up, integration, and verification of RF, digital, networking, timing, and synchronization subsystems.
• Debug hardware, firmware, software, and RF performance issues using root cause analysis.
• Develop automated test solutions for RF validation and manufacturing test.
• Collaborate with R&D design teams to validate corrective actions and improve manufacturability.
• Design and modify test stations to support production test needs.
• Transfer instrument production to manufacturing plants as needed.
