Grand Hotel Imperiale, Forte dei Marmi, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to source the best products, negotiate smartly, and maintain five-star standards. You will report to the Director of Finance.

Lead procurement across F&B, Housekeeping, Spa and more; manage suppliers, stock, and costs; drive sustainability while ensuring brand standards and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years as a Purchasing Manager or Assistant in luxury hospitality.
• Deep knowledge of F&B products and premium hotel supplies.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Hands-on experience with procurement and inventory systems and advanced Excel.
• Organised, precise and cost-conscious with a focus on quality.
• Good team player across departments.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Responsabilités

• Manage the full procurement cycle for F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Engineering and operating supplies.
• Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to ensure top quality and value.
• Build relationships with local artisans and international vendors.
• Oversee receiving, storeroom and inventory control including monthly stock counts.
• Monitor costs with the Executive Chef and F&B Director.
• Ensure purchasing procedures and brand standards are followed.
• Run market analysis, price benchmarking and supplier reviews.
• Support sustainability goals through responsible sourcing.

At Imperiale, every detail matters, from the linen on our beds to the produce on our plates. We’re looking for a Purchasing Manager to source the best, negotiate smart and keep our five-star standards running smoothly. You will report to the Director of Finance.

What you’ll do

• Manage the whole procurement cycle for all departments: F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Engineering and operating supplies;
• Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to get top quality, good value and reliable service;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local artisans, premium producers and international vendors;
• Oversee receiving, storeroom and inventory control, including monthly stock counts;
• Monitor food and beverage costs together with the Executive Chef and the F&B Director;
• Make sure purchasing procedures, internal controls and brand standards are followed;
• Run market analysis, price benchmarking and supplier performance reviews;
• Support sustainability goals through responsible sourcing and waste reduction.

What you bring

• 5+ years as a Purchasing Manager or Assistant in luxury hospitality (five-star or upscale property);
• Deep knowledge of F&B products and premium hotel supplies;
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills;
• Hands-on experience with procurement and inventory systems and advanced Excel;
• Organised, precise and cost-conscious, with a strong focus on quality;
• Good team player who works well across departments;
• Fluent Italian and English.
