Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join a cloud adoption and IT operations team. This fully remote role focuses on Linux and Windows environments, including web servers, TLS certificates, and database backends across MariaDB, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure, share knowledge with colleagues, and participate in rotating shifts to ensure reliable service delivery.

Competenze

• At least five years of professional IT operations experience.
• Strong hands-on Linux expertise, kernel tuning and filesystem management.
• Solid Windows knowledge, Active Directory and configuration.
• Experience with web servers and load-balancing technologies.
• Knowledge of MariaDB, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Basic TLS certificate termination and security concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and document procedures.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication; German is a plus.

• Serve as first contact for customer requests and monitoring alerts.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Linux and Windows systems.
• Operate web servers and load balancers (Traefik, NGINX, Envoy, Apache).
• Manage TLS certificates and support database environments (MariaDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Monitor performance, investigate issues, and improve reliability.
