Job summary

Naphora Games Group is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, operate, and scale robust backend systems and platforms. This fully remote role allows candidates from anywhere, aligned with Saudi working hours (Sun–Thu, 9:00–17:00 KSA time).

The role focuses on backend services, APIs, databases, AI integrations, and production systems, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for large user bases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering with production systems.
• Experience building scalable APIs and services.
• LiveOps or production operations experience is a plus.
• Hands-on AI/tool integrations in production systems.
• Strong knowledge of databases, caching, and async workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Contribute to architecture and long-term technical decisions.
• Create reusable components for multiple products.
• Optimize database schemas and data models.
• Build asynchronous processes and external integrations.
• Ensure monitoring, reliability, and performance in production.
