Job summary

Berkeley Square IT is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Manager for a 6-month contract. You will lead testing teams across multiple software projects, translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and oversee the full testing lifecycle.

Remote work from Italy is supported. You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive testing strategy, monitor quality metrics, and report testing results to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of software testing and quality assurance experience, preferably in a project management role.
• ISTQB CTFL and ITIL certifications.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• VAT number (partita IVA) for invoicing.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and managerial skills.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages including C++, PHP, HTML, SQL, VB.Net.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team for various software projects.
• Interpret business requirements and crystallize stories and acceptance criteria.
• Understand the software development lifecycle, including testing phases.
• Manage testing processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver testing results to project teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee all activities in the test plan to meet objectives and ensure solution readiness.
• Test functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and system integrations.
• Provide feedback for production deployment readiness.
• Attend requirements gathering and reviews to understand the product to be tested.
• Collaborate in business requirement and functional specification reviews.
