Berkeley Square IT is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Manager for a 6-month contract. You will lead testing teams across multiple software projects, translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and oversee the full testing lifecycle.

Remote work from Italy is supported. You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive testing strategy, monitor quality metrics, and report testing results to ensure successful deployments.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of software testing and quality assurance experience, preferably in a project management role.
• ISTQB CTFL and ITIL certifications.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• VAT number (partita IVA) for invoicing.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and managerial skills.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages including C++, PHP, HTML, SQL, VB.Net.

Quality Assurance Project Manager | Initially a 6 Month Contract Do you have a passion for software testing and quality assurance? What you will do

• Leading and managing the testing team for various software projects
• Interpreting business requirements and crystallizing stories and acceptance criteria for implementation
• Understanding the software development process, including planning, analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution
• Managing overall testing and teams processes and improvement
• Delivering testing results to the project team and stakeholders
• Managing all activities in the test plan to ensure that the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected
• Testing the solution in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other internal and/or external systems
• Providing feedback for production deployment review relating to production deployments readiness
• Attending requirements gathering and requirements review meetings to gain an understanding of the product to be tested
• Participating in business requirement and functional specification reviews by identifying and resolving any inconsistencies or insufficiencies
• Providing periodic reviews of testing results to cross-functional team members and management team
• Documenting test plan, test strategy, risk strategy, and sign-offs
• Using various testing tools, such as HP ALM, Jira, Allure, Confluence, etc
• Applying different testing methods, such as Waterfall and Agile

What you will need

• A bachelors degree in Information Management or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in a project management role
• ISTQB CTFL and ITIL service management certifications
• Fluency in English and Italian
• A partita iva (VAT number) for invoicing purposes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and managerial skills
• A strong knowledge of programming languages, such as C++, PHP, HTML, SQL, VB.Net, Macros, etc
• A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
• A willingness to learn new skills and technologies
• A flexible and adaptable attitude to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
