Logistics Cluster seeks a Programme Policy Officer to lead the development of a Child Safeguarding Framework and to mainstream child protection across programmes. The role includes drafting the Executive Director's Circular on Child Safeguarding, coordinating with HQ, RBs, COs and external partners, and delivering guidance and tools to operationalize safeguards.

The incumbent will support CSP integration into design, provide technical assistance, and contribute to learning and capacity-building

Competenze

• Postgraduate qualification in development studies, gender or related field.
• At least 10 years in protection with 5+ providing technical assistance, design, monitoring or evidence.
• Experience in emergency/humanitarian settings and familiarity with WFP operations is desirable.

Mansioni

• Lead development and operationalization of the Child Safeguarding Framework.
• Draft, consult, clearance and approve the Executive Director's Circular on Child Safeguarding.
• Provide technical support to integrate child safeguarding into programme design and CSP mainstreaming.
• Strengthen capacity and learning on child safeguarding across Country Offices and partners.
• Engage with donors and partners on safeguarding commitments and standards.
