RemoteJobsOne is seeking a highly skilled Audio Expert for a fully remote contract role based in Italy. You will contribute to an AI training project involving polyphonic transcription, SATB notation, and Python-driven analysis, producing precise MusicXML scores from mixed audio.

The position offers flexible hours (~15 hrs/week) with a fully remote setup and a focus on musical accuracy over years of experience. Candidates should be able to work autonomously and deliver task-based outputs.

Competenze

• Strong Python programming ability.
• Advanced ear training and polyphonic music-transcription ability.
• Strong understanding of harmony, rhythm, voice leading, and standard notation.
• Experience with SATB music, choral arranging, score preparation, or related polyphonic transcription.

Mansioni

• Transcribe polyphonic musical recordings into structured notation.
• Distinguish soprano, alto, tenor, and bass lines from a mono mix.
• Identify pitches, onsets, durations, rests, and re-articulations.
• Quantize events to the correct rhythmic grid.
• Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling.
• Generate or manipulate MusicXML.
• Use Python to inspect audio, analyze spectral information, and automate parts of the transcription workflow.
• Validate transcriptions through musical review, structured checks, or resynthesis.
