GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Field Services Engineer for Electrical Excitation & LCI Systems. You will be the technical authority for end-to-end commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of critical systems across Europe, ensuring safe, reliable, and peak performance of assets.

You’ll lead onsite activities, diagnose complex issues, and coordinate cross-functional teams, while mentoring colleagues and upholding a safety-first culture.

Competenze

• Experience in power plant maintenance or turbine generator commissioning.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems and power electronics.
• Ability to read P&IDs and PLC logic to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% to support international sites.
• English proficiency; Italian/Spanish/French valued for regional support.

Mansioni

• Lead on-site electrical activities: installation, commissioning, and maintenance of legacy and latest excitation/LCI systems.
• Diagnose complex technical issues, modify software, and tune control constants for performance improvements.
• Serve as primary technical contact for plant owners and operators; coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely, quality project delivery.
• Provide expert advisory services on packaged products; mentor team members and support business development.
• Champion safety by enforcing EHS policies and safe-site practices.
