Daidalos is seeking a Software Engineer (Junior) for AI Systems to join our remote EU team. You will work on bringing AI models onto new hardware architectures and help bridge software and hardware.

Ideal candidates are at the start of their career, curious, motivated, and ready to dive below high-level abstractions, with interest in performance and embedded systems.

This role offers full remote work, exposure to FPGA-based projects, and growth into a highly specialized position.

Competenze

• Basic knowledge of C++ or Python.
• Understanding of fundamental computer architecture concepts.
• Interest in performance optimization and low-level systems.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Optimize and map AI models (PyTorch/ONNX) onto custom architectures.
• Develop in C++/Python with focus on performance.
• Interact with FPGA-based systems.
• Understand memory, latency and throughput constraints.
• Support hardware-software co-design activities.
