Taylor Hopkinson | Powered By Brunel is seeking an Origination PPA Manager to develop and execute offtake strategies for Italy's renewables and storage portfolio. You will originate PPAs with corporates and utilities, and build relationships with energy buyers across the Italian market.

Based in Milan or remotely in Italy, you will lead negotiations, analyze GME/PUN trends, and shape pricing, auctions and risk management to maximize project value and bankability.

Competenze

• Solid experience in European energy markets, with focus on Italian power market.
• Direct experience originating, structuring, negotiating or managing renewable PPAs.
• Proven track record of executing renewable energy offtake agreements.
• Strong understanding of Italian electricity markets, GME, zonal pricing, forward curves and imbalance exposure.
• Experience with Italian renewable energy auctions, GSE support schemes or competitive tenders.
• Experience with solar, wind, BESS or hybrid renewable projects.
• Established network across Italian utilities, suppliers, traders, aggregators and/or corporate energy buyers.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Professional fluency in Italian and English.

• Develop and execute the offtake strategy for renewable energy and storage projects in Italy.
• Originate corporate, utility and bilateral PPAs; build relationships with utilities, traders and large energy buyers.
• Lead end-to-end negotiation and execution of PPAs and related agreements.
• Analyse Italian markets, prices, forward curves and merchant exposure to inform pricing and revenue strategies.
• Lead participation in Italian auctions and support schemes and develop bid strategies.
• Manage PPAs across their lifecycle and present risks and recommendations to senior teams.
