Jinko Power Italy is seeking a senior offtake strategist to lead the development of offtake and revenue strategies across its portfolio, including PPAs, merchant exposure, storage revenue contracts, and GSE support schemes.

You will originate and manage Italian and European counterparties, analyze the Italian market, lead tenders, bids, and deal execution, while coordinating with development, grid, finance, and international teams; fluency in Italian and English required.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Portfolio Offtake Strategy Own and develop the offtake and revenue strategy across Jinko Power Italy's development portfolio, including bilateral and corporate PPAs, utility offtake, GSE support schemes, merchant exposure, storage revenue contracts and other structured products. Recommend when, how much and on what terms each project should contract, balancing bankability, project value and market optionality.
2. 2. Origination and Counterparty Relationships Build and actively manage a network of Italian and European offtake counterparties, including utilities, energy suppliers, traders, aggregators and corporate energy buyers such as data centres, manufacturers, industrial companies, logistics providers and retail groups. Maintain a live counterparty map covering buyer appetite, volume, tenor, preferred contract structure, pricing expectations, creditworthiness and approval process. Generate inbound and outbound deal flow and represent Jinko Power in the Italian PPA and offtake market.
3. 3. Italian Power Market Analysis Develop an independent and commercially defensible view of the Italian electricity market, including GME day-ahead and intraday markets, PUN Index GME and zonal prices, forward curves, capture prices, renewable cannibalisation, negative pricing, curtailment, grid congestion and imbalance exposure. Assess route-to-market costs, Guarantees of Origin, storage arbitrage, ancillary-services revenue and the impact of TIDE on renewable and storage projects. Analyse relevant publications and market data from GME, Terna, GSE and ARERA, translating market developments into PPA and bid-pricing recommendations.
4. 4. Public Support Schemes and Competitive Tenders Lead participation in relevant Italian renewable energy and storage schemes, including GSE auctions and FER X, MACSE where applicable, and other national or regional procurement mechanisms. Maintain a rolling tender and auction calendar aligned with Jinko Power Italy's project pipeline. Lead bid strategy and execution end to end, including eligibility assessment, bid pricing, financial guarantees, permitting and delivery evidence, milestone requirements and other price and non-price criteria. Coordinate with Jinko Power's European and international teams to ensure bids meet Italian regulatory, commercial and delivery requirements.
5. 5. Deal Execution Manage the full bilateral transaction cycle: target identification, customer engagement, indicative pricing, non-binding offers, term sheets, negotiation and contract execution. Negotiate commercial terms alongside legal and finance teams, including credit support, tenor, contract volume and shape, pay-as-produced or baseload structures, imbalance risk, Guarantees of Origin, negative pricing, curtailment, change in law, delay damages, COD milestones and termination rights. Support the negotiation of EFET, ISDA or other relevant contractual documentation where applicable.
6. 6. Cross-Functional and Transaction Support Work closely with development, grid and engineering teams to ensure offtake commitments reflect realistic permitting, grid connection, COD and delivery assumptions. Work with finance and M&A teams to ensure executed PPAs and awarded support contracts maximise project bankability and value in financing, sale and farm-down processes. Support lender, investor and buyer due diligence on revenue contracts. Report the offtake and tender pipeline, weighted probability, pricing and key risks to management, the board and shareholders.

About You

Essential 7+ years of experience in European energy markets, including substantial hands‑on experience in the Italian power market. A demonstrable and verifiable track record of personally originating, structuring, negotiating and executing renewable energy PPAs. Ability to clearly quantify executed PPA transactions by project, technology, offtaker, capacity in MW/GW, tenor and personal contribution. Direct experience with Italian renewable energy auctions, support schemes or competitive tender processes. Strong understanding of GME electricity markets, Italian zonal pricing, forward curves, capture prices, imbalance exposure and route-to-market structures. An active Italian buy‑side network across utilities, suppliers, traders, aggregators and corporate energy buyers. Commercial fluency in physical and virtual PPAs, corporate PPAs, GSE support contracts and structured energy products. Strong business‑development, relationship‑building and negotiation skills. Ability to work autonomously and coordinate effectively with European and international teams. Professional fluency in both Italian and English. Desirable Established relationships with energy procurement, CFO, CPO and sustainability decision‑makers at major Italian corporates. Relationships with data centre and hyperscaler energy‑procurement teams. Experience with BESS revenue contracts, MACSE, tolling, capacity‑market arrangements or ancillary‑services markets. Experience with the GME PPA Bulletin Board and evolving Italian PPA market arrangements. Experience supporting project financing, M&A or farm‑down transactions. Network across Italian and European project‑finance banks, energy‑market advisers, legal advisers and independent consultants. Experience working within an international renewable energy developer or IPP. Mandarin language capability.
