Job summary

Kinship Ventures is seeking an Investment Analyst to support fundraising and investment work in a remote, contractor capacity. You will prepare LP materials, track conversations, and draft communications to move raises forward, while conducting market research, diligence, and investment memo support for the team.

You will engage in deal coordination, write concise recaps, and contribute to investor materials with a client-service standard of communication.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in VC, investment banking, consulting, startup ops or strategy
• Direct exposure to fundraising, investor relations or LP communications
• Exceptional written English and credibility on calls with senior investors
• Solid base in financial modeling, market sizing, competitive analysis and accounting fundamentals
• AI-native: fluent in Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, no-code automations; Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace
• Sharp investment judgment with a proactive, finish-what-you-start approach

Responsibilities

• Fundraising and LP support: draft LP updates, recaps, outreach and fund materials
• Research and diligence: build market maps, research themes, run primary calls, assist sizing and diligence
• Deal support: coordinate diligence, data requests and doc tracking, manage cap tables
• Written communication: turn meetings into recaps and draft materials for LPs, founders and co-investors
