Job summary

Translated is seeking an experienced Interpreting Project Manager to join our Core Project Management Team. You will manage interpreting projects end to end—simultaneous, consecutive, sign language, sworn interpreting—delivered on-site, remotely or in hybrid settings.

This fully remote freelance role requires availability during Italian business hours (CET/CEST). You will advise clients, coordinate interpreters and technicians, monitor sessions, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in interpreting settings.
• Strong familiarity with Remote Simultaneous Interpreting platforms and interpreting equipment.
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage interpreting projects end-to-end across sessions (on-site, remote, hybrid).
• Coordinate interpreters and technicians, providing leadership and support.
• Monitor budgets, timelines and quality to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to improve processes.
