Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future projects in Italy. You will manage the entire grid connection process, draft and submit applications, analyze technical outcomes, and collaborate with legal and project management teams.

Required 2–3 years in electrical connections for renewables, HV substation experience, and knowledge of ITA grid processes. Remote work with periodic visits to Bologna offices offered.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Experience in HV substations construction.
• Experience in grid works with E-distribuzione.
• Knowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (TICA).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and project drawings.
• Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the grid connection process and coordinate with grid operators.
• Draft and submit HV/medium voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support development and permitting phases with focus on electrical aspects.
• Collaborate with legal, permitting and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule grid interconnection works.
• Coordinate with designers and support in connection-side systems design.
• Support tender phases for grid interconnection works: define scope, review bids, select contractors.
• Evaluate offers and follow up during tendering.
• Prepare contracts to ensure works meet OPDENERGY requirements.
• Manage and supervise engineering/construction activities related to grid connections with PMs and site engineers.
• Participate in commissioning phases.
• Perform site surveys and audits during construction.
