Job summary

Rho is hiring a Study Start Up Lead for a remote role open to Italy, Spain, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania or Bulgaria. You will drive site activation, coordinate regulatory submissions, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely trial startup across multiple regions.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication to align sponsors, sites and internal teams while maintaining timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience with 2+ years in study start-up leadership roles.
• Ability to lead a team of individuals in study start-up.
• Familiarity with ICH-GCP/EU directives and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the study start-up process through site activation with PM and Clinical Trial Lead.
• Participate in sponsor meetings to set targets, expectations and metrics.
• Identify and mitigate risks in start-up delivery and timelines.
• Maintain systems to analyze site activation progress against targets.
• Provide operational oversight to SSU Associates on projects.
• Coordinate IRB/EC submissions and regulatory approvals (CTIS Part 2).
• Support feasibility and SIV/site activation planning with Clinical Team Leads.
• Develop country/site startup timelines and oversee startup activities.
