Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction, with energy regulatory experience preferred.
• Energy law experience, familiarity with FERC and state utility law.
• Strong analytical and writing skills for interpreting complex regulations.
• Experience handling regulatory filings, proceedings, or policy advocacy.

Responsabilités

• Advise on compliance with federal/state energy regulations, including FERC and state commissions.
• Draft and file regulatory documents, petitions, and motions in energy proceedings.
• Analyze regulations, tariffs, and rate cases to assess risk and plan responses.
• Represent the client in meetings with regulators, stakeholders, and industry groups.
• Monitor legislative/regulatory developments and provide updates to leadership.
