Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation to define technical solutions around our Cortex portfolio, an AI-powered security operations platform. You will evangelize our Security Intelligence and Automation, XDR, Attack Surface Management, SOAR and Incident Response capabilities to align with customer business imperatives.

You will collaborate with account teams, present as a technical expert, lead PoV and value-based projects, and help shape product features

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering
• IBM QRadar design/deploy/pre-sales experience desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude with customers
• Solid understanding of SOC processes
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions
• Python scripting is a plus
• Travel may be required for in-person meetings; discuss with recruiter
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization area
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for Cortex for RFIs/RFPs
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition
• Scope and lead PoV projects based on best practices to ensure technical win
• Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates in your area
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiate our solutions
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customer security posture
• Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases for value realization
• Help customers build and develop Cortex services
• Lead discussions on industry trends and changes in security landscape
