Object First, now an independent business unit of Veeam, seeks a skilled Technical Support Engineer to assist clients with technical issues and provide guidance on data backup solutions. You’ll diagnose problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to knowledge base content.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, customer service, and cross-language communication in English and Italian, with remote work options and growth opportunities within a fast-growing IT company.

Competenze

• Proven experience in technical support, preferably in data backup or storage solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Veeam data backup products.
• Veeam ecosystem experience (VMware ESX(i)/vSphere, Hyper-V, public clouds).
• Advanced user or admin level experience with Ubuntu Linux and Windows Server.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• English and Italian language proficiency.

• Provide efficient and effective technical support to customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to the product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Guide customers through configurations and best practices for a great experience.

• Support documentation by validating procedures, building labs, or drafting content.
