Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking Software Engineers in Naples to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code. You will help train AI systems to think like real developers by writing, debugging, and reviewing code across multiple languages, and by crafting prompts that stress-test AI outputs.

You will work independently on a remote, hourly-contract basis, with 10–40 hours per week. This role emphasizes clear technical communication, rigorous analysis, and reliable self-management to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex code efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages and frameworks.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback explaining code decisions and outcomes.
• Design prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
