Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Creative Writing Evaluators to read AI-generated fiction, poetry, and prose, providing critical feedback to improve quality and storytelling. This is a fully remote, hourly contract with flexible hours (10–40 hours/week). No published credits or formal background required — just a genuine passion for the written word.

Qualifications

• A genuine lover of reading and writing with a strong sense of what makes writing work.
• Able to articulate why something reads well — or doesn't.
• Strong command of English grammar, style, and voice.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate AI-generated creative writing across genres including fiction, poetry, essays, and more
• Assess writing for quality, originality, style, tone, coherence, and reader engagement
• Identify weaknesses such as clichés, unnatural phrasing, pacing issues, and logical inconsistencies
• Provide clear, constructive written feedback to guide AI writing improvements
• Rate outputs using structured evaluation rubrics
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
