Job summary

Ruhrpumpen is seeking a Sales Engineer for Italy, Greece & the Balkans to drive profitable growth across product lines. You will be the single point of contact for customers, partners, and internal teams, translating technical needs into value-driven solutions.

This role requires hands-on product knowledge, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50% across the territory. Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory; additional regional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Italian is required.
• Additional languages such as Greek, Serbian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Romanian or Albanian are a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging at all levels of a customer organization.
• Experience in industrial pump, rotating equipment, or flow-control solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customers in Italy, Greece and the Balkans.
• Grow business across market segments by visiting customers and identifying opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers, engineering teams, EPCs, end users, and partners.
• Collaborate with engineering, aftermarket and inside sales to deliver solutions.
• Identify needs and provide technical and commercial value proposals.
• Manage territory forecasts, budgets and sales plans.
• Promote Ruhrpumpen portfolio and aftermarket services.
• Ensure proposals meet technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain CRM records and territory activity.
• Represent Ruhrpumpen at events and conferences.
