Job summary

Camlin Group in Italy seeks a Mid-Level Firmware Engineer to design, develop and optimize DSP and microcontroller based real-time solutions. You will work on real-time firmware with strict latency and resource constraints and contribute to HW/SW integration.

Responsibilities include implementing firmware, optimizing algorithms, debugging, and maintaining documentation while applying RTOS concepts and modern build tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, simulating, implementing, verifying and validating DSP-enabled firmware.
• Proficient in C/C++ with embedded targets.
• Familiarity with RTOS like FreeRTOS/Zephyr.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time DSP and MCU firmware tailored to project needs.
• Ensure firmware meets latency and throughput constraints and efficient use of resources.
• Lead hardware/software integration to ensure seamless real-time operation.
• Optimize signal processing algorithms and embedded systems performance.
• Conduct code reviews, design evaluations, and testing to ensure quality.
• Debug hardware and software issues and determine root causes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
